Soy is known as the “king of beans”. It contains a large number of nutrients and health benefits. It improves immune functions, improves intelligence, strengthens human tissues and organs, improves energy, whitens skin, prevents cancer, prevents oxidation, reduces fat in the blood, prevents deafness, lowers arterial pressure.
I gave the recipe for egg chicken roll a few days ago. This egg soy roll is almost the same. With the soy pellets, I tried to make a healthy but very delicious preparation.
For the stuffing:
- Soy pellets/ granules: 1 cup
- Capsicum: 1 (chopped)
- Onion: 1 medium (chopped)
- Garlic: 4 cloves (crushed)
- Cabbage: 1 cup (chopped, I use purple cabbage)
- Eggs: 4 (beaten, one for each roll)
- Tomato ketch-up
- Soy sauce
- Chili sauce
- Salt to taste
- Lime juice
For the Paratha:
- Flour / Maida: 1 cup
- White oil: 2 tablespoons
- Salt: a pinch
- The water.
For the roll:
- Onion: 1/2 (sliced)
- Cucumber: 1/2 (sliced)
- Green pepper: 2 (chopped) (optional)
- Kasundi
- Tomato ketchup
- Salt
- Black pepper powder
For Padding/Stuffing:
- First, boil water in a saucepan and add the soy granules for 15 minutes and add a little salt. After a while, the soybean pellets will absorb water and swell.
Then squeeze them a little to remove the excess water and after draining the water keep the soy pellets aside. - Then add a little white oil to the pan and add all the chopped vegetables to it.
Sprinkle with salt and cook them over medium heat until they become a bit soft.
Now add the ketchup, chili sauce (be careful while preparing for your kids) and soy sauce. - Mix them very well and add the soybean pods soaked in pe.Mix the soy granules well with all the vegetables.Cook, 5 to 6 minutes, until a stuffung masala is cooked.
Keep it aside.
For Paratha:
Take the flour, mix it with the oil and salt and make a soft dough with the water.
Divide it into a few equal balls.
How to prepare a roll:
- Now roll the flour dough using the rolling pin, with a little dry flour and make a few round-shaped parathas of medium size.Heat a flat tawa or pan and cook both sides of the paratha only for 2-3 minutes. Keep them aside.
- Now beat the eggs with a little salt. Then heat the same tawa again and sprinkle oil on it and add 1/4 of a beaten egg on it. Immediately turn the egg to form an omelet the size of a roti. Before the egg sets, place a roti on the egg and press down gently. This will help the roti to adhere to the omelet. Turn the roti when the egg is cooked and cook for 2-3 minutes. you can add a little more oil at this time to make fried or roasted roti.
- Now place the paratha on a flat plate. Add the soya stuffing on the omelet side.
Add the chopped cucumber and onions, a little lemon juice, kasundi (optional), tomato ketchup, sprinkle a little salt and black pepper powder. - Now roll the paratha with the tissue paper on the outer side to wrap it.Close the bottom end of the roll with the tissue paper.
- Hold tight and enjoy your lovely healthy snacks and let your little one enjoy with their favorite fruit drink.
