Ingredients of Quinoa Jaggery Ladoo

  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 3 teaspoon ghee
  • 1 tablespoon broken cashews
  • 1 tablespoon golden raisins
  • 1/2 cup powdered jaggery
  • 2 tablespoons almond flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 3 tablespoons milk

How to Make Quinoa Jaggery Ladoo

  1. Roast the quinoa in a pan. The quinoa will have a nutty aroma once roasted.
  2. Now put roasted quinoa to a grinder and grind to a fine powder and then transfer to a large bowl.
  3. Now heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan on medium heat and add cashews and raisins and fry until cashews are browned.
  4. To the same bowl, add jaggery powder, almond flour and cardamom powder. Mix everything.
  5. Now, heat remaining ghee in a small pan. You just want to warm it up a bit and then add it to the bowl.
  6. Add the milk- 1 tablespoon at a time to bind the ladoos.
  7. Mix everything very well using your fingers.
  8. Then take a small portion from the mixture and press between your palm to bind it, then roll to form a round shape ladoo.
  9. These quinoa jaggery ladoo will keep well at room temperature for 5-6 days.
