Ingredients for nutrela biryani
- 1 1/2 cup long grain rice
- 1/2 cup oil/ghee
- salt to taste
- 6 flakes garlic
- 2 small pieces ginger
- 3 green clilli
- 2 cloves
- 3 poppy seeds
- 3 cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- 2 small onion
- 5 -6 potato
- 2 small mint leaves
- 2 large carrot
- 3 madium cauliflower
- 250 grm peas
- 500grm water
- 2 cup Capsicum
- 1/2 tsp saffron
- 1tsp milk
- 2 madium onions sliced
- 1 madium cashewnut
- 2 tsp raisin
- salt to taste
- 2 tomato
- 2 tsp hot water
- 2 tsp coriander
how to make nutrela biryani
- Mix the first 3 ingredients and boil till the rice is cooked drain them and keep aside. grinded all ingredients from garlic to mint leaves to a fine paste. peel Tube potatoes, carrot, break the Cauliflower in small florets.Cook peas in two cup of water for 10 minutes then and cut the capsicum into ring. lightly heat, Soak the saffron in 1 tsp of milk. heat 4tsp of ghee and brown sliced onion till crisp then remove from fire. then fry cashewnut and kishmish till light brown and keep aside. In the same ghee, grinded paste fry 45 minut., add potatoes, cauliflower, capsicum and salt cook for 5 minutes only on low fire when half done add Tomato and hot water still well, low the FireĀ for 5 minutes or till the water is almost obserbed mix chopped coriander leaves.
- In a deep heavy Pan put 2tsp of ghee arange the rice and vegetable in alternate layer ending with nut layer at top. Sprinkle Saffron at the top of rice and with remaining two tsp of ghee. cover the pan and put onĀ gas/heat.heat on low fire for 10 minut. garnish with fry onion, cashewnuts and kishmish.
