Ingredients of Moong Dal Appe
- 1/2 cup yellow Moong Dal
- 1-2 Green chili
- 1/2 inch piece of ginger
- 2 tbsp chopped dhania leaves
- 2 tbsp chopped onion
- 1 chopped Green chili
- salt
- 3/4 tsp Eno
For Tarka
- 1 tsp oil
- 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp Urad dal
- 1 chopped Green chili
- Few curry leaves
How to Make Moong Dal Appe
- Wash and soak dal overnight.
- Rinse well in the morning and grind with ginger and green chili.
- Heat Oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and urad dal,cook till Urad dal turns golden.
- Add chopped Green chili and curry leaves.
- Put tarka to the dal.
- Put chopped onion and coriander leaves.
- Add salt and Heat Appe pan and put few drops of oil in every block.
- Add Eno to the batter and put a small amount of batter with big spoon into the Appe pan.
- Cover and cook on both sides till golden.
- Serve with chatnis.
