IngredientsĀ 

  • 1 kg Jackfruit / Kathal
  • 1 pot Garlic
  • 1 inch piece Ginger
  • 2 medium Onion
  • 2 huge Tomato
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Whole cumin seed
  • 2 huge Potato
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
  • Salt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 2 Cloves
  • 2 Green cardamom
  • 1 inch Cinnamon
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 1 tsp Meat masala or vegetable masala

Instructions

  1. Make ginger garlic paste in the mixer and upload one teaspoon cumin and 1/2 of teaspoon black pepper with little water and grind it to make a paste. Now chop tomatoes and onions.
  2. Put a pan at the heat and add 2 tablespoons of mustard oil in it. When the oil is hot, then upload 1 teaspoon of turmeric on this oil and fry the jackfruit on this oil for 2-2 mins, because of which an awesome shadeation comes at the jackfruit.
  3. At this time add 1/2 teaspoon of salt in it and fry it. Take out the jackfruit and reduce 1 huge potato into small portions and fry them on this oil. Potatoes should be fried for 3-four mins, while a mild golden shadeation comes at the potatoes.
  4. Now upload 1 tablespoons of mustard oil on this pan upload fry a chunk of cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, 1/2 of a teaspoon cumin and bay leaves and fry it for 30 seconds of the medium flame. Now upload onion and fry the onion until golden brown.
  5. When the onion turning brown then add ginger garlic paste. Now add tomatoes in it which we had chopped and additionally upload a small spoon of salt.
  6. When the tomatoes begin melting, then add 1/2 of a teaspoon turmeric powder, add 1 1/2 of teaspoon crimson chili powder and additionally upload 1 1/2of tablespoon coriander powder. fry these types of with out including water for two mins.
