Hummus Beiruti is a Lebanese version of Hummus that adds an abundant amount of garlic, giving it a touch of spice. Drizzled with olive oil, this dish is mainly served with pita bread.
Hummus beiruti ingredients
- 500 g of chana kabuli
- 100 g of tahina
- 15 g of baking soda
- 30 g of garlic
- 5 grams of salt
- Lemon salt
- 3 lemon

How to make hummus beiruti
- Soak the chickpeas in water overnight.
- Boil the chickpeas, wash them properly in cold water. Let the chickpeas cool.
- Add the chickpeas, tahini paste, lemon salt and crushed ice in a food processor. Remove the hummus and add the chopped onion, chili, parsley and lemon juice.
- Garnish with chopped tomatoes, olive oil and paprika powder.
