Georgia Tour Kayak Series – Lake Tobesofkee

The Georgia Tour Kayak Series is a series of events that highlight the best kayak bass fishing talent in Georgia, held at various lakes and rivers across the state. Participants get a chance to explore the beautiful waterways while competing against fellow kayak bass anglers.

Lake Tobesofkee

Lake Tobesofkee is located in Macon-Bibb County, Georgia, and is known for its abundant wildlife, scenic views, and beautiful waters. With nearly 1800 acres and 35 miles of shoreline, it is an ideal location for family outdoor activities and watersports.

Challenges for Anglers

The competition started at 6:30 a.m., with six anglers competing. Despite the muddy waters and the increase in boat traffic as the day went on, it did not stop anglers from catching fish. A total of eighteen fish were caught for this tournament.

The first-place winner, Kevin Harkins, adapted to the ever-changing conditions and emerged with just over seventy-two inches.

Here were the standings after the tournament came to a close.

First Place

Kevin Harkins from Macon, Georgia finished on top with a total of 72.25 inches. Kevin was also the $100.0O ZPRO Lithium Battery Winner.

Second Place

Marvin Santana, from Augusta, Georgia took home second place with 71.25 inches.

Third Place

Daniel Woodcock from Bloomingdale, Georgia finished out the top 3 with 63.00 inches and he also took home BIG  BASS honors with an 18.25-inch largemouth. This earned him the $50.00 award from YAKRODS.
