Dessert Crepes

Essential crepe recipe. Sprinkle the hot crepes with sugar and lemon, or serve them with cream or ice cream and fruit.

Ingrediants for Dessert Crepes

  • 4 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 ⅓ cups of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of butter, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons of white sugar
  • ½ teaspoon of salt

For Stuffing

  • Bananas and peanut butter
  • Strawberries and chocolate sauce
  • Butter and cinnamon
  • Powdered sugar and maple syrup

Instructions for Dessert Crepes

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, melted butter, flour, sugar, and salt until smooth.
  2. Heat a medium sized skillet or crepes pan over medium heat. Grease a baking sheet with a small amount of butter or oil applied with a brush or paper towel. Using a serving spoon or ladle, pour about 3 tablespoons of crepe batter into the hot pan, tilting the pan so the bottom surface is evenly coated. Cook over medium heat, 1 to 2 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Serve immediately with your favourate stuffing.
