Avocado Salad With Chilli Oil

Avocados are probably one of the only fruits that combine protein from meat, fat from butter, vitamins and minerals from green vegetables, and a nutty flavor. So here is a healthy and nutritious salad for all those who loves avocado.

Ingredients for avocado salad with chilli oil

  • 2 cups sliced avocado
  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 dark green cucumber (sliced)
  • 1 cup chopped iceberg lettuce leaves

For the dressing

  • 4 teaspoons of olive oil
  • 2 Kashmiri red peppers
  • Salt to taste

How to make an avocado salad with chilli oil

For the salad

1. Soak the chopped lettuce leaves in ice water for 1 minute.
2. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half.
3. Refrigerate all salad ingredients.

For the dressing

1. Break the red peppers into small pieces and mix in a blender with 4 tablespoons of olive oil and salt to taste.
2. Remove from the blender and keep the chilli oil aside.

The way to proceed

1. Place the chilled vegetables in a bowl.
2. Add dressing and mix well.
3. Serve immediately.
