Ingredients of Aloo Chutney Pulao

  • 2 -cups rice
  • 5 -potatoes
  • 1 -cup of chopped coriander
  • 1/2 -cup mint leaves
  • 4 -Green chiles
  • 1 -inch ginger
  • 6 -garlic cloves
  • 1 -teaspoon fennel seed
  • 1 -teaspoon dried anar dana
  • 1 -onion
  • 1 -teaspoon whole jeera
  • garam masala
  • Ghee and salt

How to Make Aloo Chutney Pulao

  • Peel and cut the potatoes.
  • Prick them with a fork.
  • Now make a paste of coriander, mint, green chiles, ginger and garlic, fennel seeds and dry anar dana.
  • Marinate the potatoes in it for at least an hour.
  • Now in a pressure cooker add ghee, then add the whole jeera and whole garam masala.
  • Then add the sliced onions.
  • Then add the marinated potatoes. Saute it for 10 min. Then add the rice.
  • Add the remaining chutney paste.
  • Add salt to taste. Now mix it well.
  • Now add water double and little more than the rice as the potatoes also need to be cooked.
  • Give 3 whistle. Let it cool. Serve it with raita.
